Don’t underestimate the Cowboys

One thing the Minnesota Vikings must not do is underestimate the Cowboys. This might be one of the more underperforming rosters in the NFL, but they are still loaded with talent everywhere you look.

The wide receiver trio of Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup has the ability to make game-altering plays if given enough space. Dallas also has a star running back in Ezekiel Elliott who is more than capable of having a big game with the added incentive of outplaying the league’s leading rusher Dalvin Cook on the other side.

Their defense has been a big disappointment, but they now have Leighton Vander Esch back at the second level and the Cowboys are getting some improvements from prominent players such as DeMarcus Lawrence on their defensive front.

If the Vikings go into this game thinking it’ll be another easy win, then they will pay the price.

Their 1-5 record at the bye week earlier this season should ensure that this roster takes absolutely nothing for granted. And if Minnesota wants to be realistically considered as a playoff contender once again, they need to go into this game with the right mindset.

Proving the Vikings do this and continue this high level of performance, it should come with another positive result that builds further momentum.
