Which teams should Minnesota Vikings fans be rooting for in Week 15?

Losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week stings a bit. The Minnesota Vikings seemed to control the first quarter in a way that made it feel as though it was going to be a very winnable game. But then everything turned around and Mike Zimmer’s squad was left stunned and disappointed.

Thankfully, that loss didn’t close the door on Minnesota’s chances to make the playoffs. Even though their 6-7 record isn’t looking too good right now, there are some ways this team can mathematically sneak their way back into the NFC playoff picture.

Heading into Week 15, the Vikings are sitting in the eighth spot in the NFC, right outside the playoff bubble. Since the Green Bay Packers have locked down the NFC North, the only way Minnesota gets into the postseason now is by grabbing one of the three wild-card spots.

The Vikings are probably going to need to win as many games as possible during these final three weeks of the season and get a little help from a few teams in order to sneak their way into the sixth or seventh spot in the NFC.
