Which NFL Draft prospects nobody is talking about where the Minnesota Vikings are concerned could end up on the team in 2021?
We won’t have to wait much longer to find out which incoming college recruits will be joining the Minnesota Vikings. The 2021 NFL Draft is just a few short days away and it promises to be an important one for the organization in their quest to make a swift return to the playoffs at the earliest possible opportunity.
The Vikings made some solid moves in free agency this year to compensate for the necessary sacrifices in order to comply with the newly reduced salary-cap restrictions. They look much stronger on the defensive side of the ball, and if they can boost obvious problems on their depth chart, then postseason football in 2021 should not be that far behind.
One thing that might hamper Minnesota is their lack of a second-round pick this year. Although, they do have plenty of draft capital in the third and fourth rounds if they need ammo to move up for a specific prospect.
However, there does appear to be plenty of high-value selections that are going somewhat under the radar who have the potential to make a name for themselves much sooner than expected with a smooth transition.
It’s been hit or miss for the Vikings regarding late rounders in recent years. Minnesota general manager Rick Spielman can’t be faulted for getting plenty of selections through various trades. But whether the Vikings have used them in a positive way is up for debate.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at four potential Minnesota draft targets in 2021 that nobody is really talking about.
