Week 11

Green Bay Packers (Home)

  • Date: Sunday, November 21
  • Time: 12 p.m. CT
  • TV: FOX

Who will be under center when the Packers take the field inside U.S. Bank Stadium for this NFC North showdown with the Vikings?

Well, even if Aaron Rodgers is still Green Bay’s starting quarterback for this matchup, Minnesota should be able to continue their recent success on their home field against the Packers with an impressive victory.

Prediction: Vikings win (8-2)

Week 12

San Francisco 49ers (Away)

  • Date: Sunday, November 28
  • Time: 3:25 p.m. CT
  • TV: FOX

Speaking of which quarterback will be starting, that will play a factor for the Vikings in this contest against the 49ers as well.

San Francisco will likely have either Jimmy Garoppolo or rookie Trey Lance starting under center for them in this matchup. Minnesota should be fine against either signal-caller, but their offense struggling against a talented 49ers defense will end up being the difference in this game.

Prediction: Vikings lose (8-3)

Week 13

Detroit Lions (Away)

  • Date: Sunday, December 5
  • Time: 12 p.m. CT
  • TV: CBS

By this point in the 2021 season, it’s quite possible that the Lions could be one of the worst teams in the NFL.

There’s a chance that they could still be in the hunt for a playoff spot too, but that chance does not seem very high at all. Minnesota should be able to come away with their second win over Detroit in this contest.

Prediction: Vikings win (9-3)

Week 14

Pittsburgh Steelers (Home)

  • Date: Thursday, December 9
  • Time: 7:20 p.m. CT
  • TV: FOX/NFLN/Amazon

Thursdays have not been friendly to the Vikings since Mike Zimmer became their head coach as the team is just 2-5 in matchups on this day of the week since 2014.

Typically the advantage on Thursday night games goes to the home team. But with a ton of great talent on both sides of the ball, the Steelers will figure out a way to be the team to leave U.S. Bank Stadium with a victory in this contest.

Prediction: Vikings lose (9-4)
