The Minnesota Vikings will kick off training camp on Wednesday, and there is plenty of work to do. With a defense that was rebuilt with one-year deals and an offense that is hoping to maintain their level of success from a year ago, the Vikings team that will hit the field at TCO Performance Center will look much different than what we saw in 2020.
That brings a lot of questions as they open training camp. While this season isn’t as difficult as last year’s pandemic-influenced schedule, the Vikings have confidence in their young players, thanks to a full offseason program.
There are also several positional battles to keep an eye on. The back end of the receiver depth chart could be the most intriguing battle in camp, but we still don’t know who will be the Vikings’ kicker or if someone on the roster can play guard.
