Harrison Hand – CB

Harrison Hand was the star and talk of Vikings minicamp. He was given an opportunity when players like Patrick Peterson and Cameron Dantzler were out and he made the most out of that shot.

Hand was making plays every day in practice, picking off passes, and putting himself in great position to knock the ball away from the intended receiver. Many had high hopes for him once training camp started and even expected him to ascend the depth chart. That just hasn’t come to pass.

It’s a bit shocking how quiet things have been on the Harrison Hand front. He has hardly been mentioned in any practice recaps, and if he is, it usually means he was out of position or got burned by the receiver.

In his defense, there haven’t been a ton of those negative comments, so maybe he’s just a guy who is quietly doing what is asked of him.

Hand is still likely to make the final roster, but his training camp performance was definitely underwhelming. He still has plenty of time to develop into a solid player for the Vikings, but after those red hot performances in May and June, it’s disappointing we haven’t seen him continue to secure rave reviews.
