The latest portion of the NFL Top 100 list was revealed on Sunday and it included Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook ranking ahead of Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones.

With Aaron Jones scoring 30 touchdowns in the last two seasons, it’s difficult for some fans of the Green Bay Packers to believe that he’s not even the best running back in his own division. No, that title belongs to Dalvin Cook of the Minnesota Vikings.

This is at least according to the guys in the NFL who have actually gone out on the field and attempted to stop either Cook or Jones.

More of the NFL’s annual Top 100 list (which is voted on by players from around the league) was released on Sunday and it featured Cook (No. 20) ranking ahead of Jones (No. 30). So there you have it, the debate is settled.

Do the Minnesota Vikings have more players on the NFL Top 100 list than the Green Bay Packers?

So far, the first 90 spots on the NFL Top 100 list of 2021 have been revealed. Currently, the Vikings and Packers each have a total of four players that have earned a spot on this year’s list.

Along with Cook, the other Minnesota players to be included on the NFL Top 100 list of 2021 are Adam Thielen (No. 80), Eric Kendricks (No. 70), and Justin Jefferson (No. 53).

It appears as though Cook will likely end up being the Vikings’ highest-ranked player on this year’s list. Despite having a much better performance last season than he did in 2019, the Minnesota running back’s spot on the list only jumped from No. 21 in 2020 to No. 20 this year.

Some of the notable members from the Vikings current roster that are not expected to be a part of the list year are quarterback Kirk Cousins, safety Harrison Smith, and defensive end Danielle Hunter.

For Cousins, it’s looking like this will be the first time since 2015 that he’s not going to be included in the annual NFL Top 100 list. Even after throwing for 35 touchdowns, more than 4,200 yards, and posting a passer rating of 105.0, it apparently wasn’t enough for the Minnesota quarterback to be considered among the 100 best players in the league this year.
