Hill will continue to be a problem for the offensive line
Figuring out the Vikings’ offensive line for this season has been like a game of Whack-A-Mole. With Christian Darrisaw and Wyatt Davis unable to crack the starting lineup, it’s been a different disappointment in each preseason game that has fans worried about the unit.
While Dakota Dozier was the scapegoat against the Denver Broncos, Rashod Hill was a problem against the Broncos. Hill only played nine snaps against Indianapolis but allowed a sack to Colts rookie Kwity Paye on a speed rush in the second quarter.
Hill’s struggles were in a small sample size but are a concern heading into this season. With the Vikings facing a Murderer’s Row of pass rushers in the first month, Hill will have to hold the fort until Darrisaw is ready to return. That could cause a problem that could pop up against the Chiefs.
