The Minnesota Vikings have their backs to the wall ahead of Week 5, just in time for a matchup with the Detroit Lions.

After a loss to the Cleveland Browns last week, the Minnesota Vikings are back on the brink. A game that started with a touchdown on the opening drive devolved over the next three quarters and the Vikings left the field with a 1-3 record and plenty of questions.

Mike Zimmer defended his team after the game saying that his record wasn’t indicative of what his team could be. He also mentioned that his team just needs to show that they’re a good team, making it a perfect time to see the Detroit Lions.

Detroit enters Sunday’s game with an 0-4 record and is coming off a tough loss against the Chicago Bears. With a plethora of injuries, the Lions come to Minneapolis licking their wounds and could be the perfect get-right opponent.

That’s good news for Minnesota, who has to win to avoid sabotaging their season before it even begins. In this article, we’ll look at the matchup with the Lions and give you five bold predictions to see if the Vikings can tame the Lions.
