During their last meeting inside U.S. Bank Stadium, the Minnesota Vikings cruised to a 14-point victory over the Detroit Lions.

The 1-3 Minnesota Vikings and 0-4 Detroit Lions are set to face off on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Vikings lead the all-time series 78-39-2 and they have won their last seven meetings against their divisional rivals from the Motor City.

This has been a very disappointing start to the season for Minnesota. To make matters worse, their three losses have been by a combined 11 points. The season is still young, but the Vikings have plenty of tough games ahead, which is why they absolutely need to win this game against the Lions. Minnesota starting 1-4 would be a very tough hole to climb out of.

Losing to Detroit would be a huge upset and you can bet Vikings fans will be that much more frustrated. They would be calling for the heads of Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman big time. Many Minnesota fans already are, but a loss would really push them over the edge.
