After escaping Week 5 with a last-second win, the Minnesota Vikings will head out on the road to face the Carolina Panthers in Week 6.

With a 2-3 record, the Minnesota Vikings aren’t satisfied with their performance during their first five games of the 2021 season. The good news is that the Vikings have 12 more games on their schedule to turn things around and they’re heading into a good test this week against a 3-2 Carolina Panthers team.

The Panthers started their season with wins in each of their first three games. However, Carolina has dropped their last two matchups, so they’ll be looking to end their losing streak against Minnesota on Sunday.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Carolina Panthers prediction Week 6

With there not even being a point spread set for this game, oddsmakers are expecting this matchup between the Vikings and Panthers to be a close one.

While Carolina did start the season with a 3-0 record, two of their three wins came against the New York Jets and Houston Texans, two teams that currently have a combined 2-8 record. And while Minnesota only has two wins after their first five games this year, these two victories have come in the last three weeks, so they’ve been picking up steam.

The Vikings’ offense has been in a bit of a funk during the last two weeks. So if they can get things back to how they were earlier in the season, it’s hard to believe they won’t come out of this contest with a 3-3 record.
