Grade – D-

Even though Bashaud Breeland improved for the Vikings in the last game, getting an interception and being good in coverage. The former Kansas City Chiefs cornerback has been arguably the worst cornerback in all of football this season so far. PFF had him dead last of all qualifying players at the position.

The Vikings as a unit on defense have been one of the best in the league when defending the pass but Breeland has been a major weakness. Every opposing quarterback targets the side of the field he is on and often gets success.

Although his pass coverage has been questionable, to say the least, Breeland has been very good at tackling in the open field and has made some big plays for the Minnesota Vikings. If the last game was any indication of things to come, then perhaps Breeland will turn out to be a decent free-agent signing.

But for now, he has been a disappointment.
