Ifeadi Odenigbo, Cleveland Browns – Trade candidate

If the Minnesota Vikings want to bring in someone they can immediately plug into the defense and see results, trading to get Ifeadi Odenigbo back would be a very interesting way to accomplish that goal.

Odenigbo started 15 games for the Vikings, playing in a total of 32 contests for Minnesota. During that time, he had 10.5 sacks to go with 58 combined tackles, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble, and one defensive score.

His time with the Cleveland Browns hasn’t been as good. In three games played, he has yet to register a sack and only has one tackle. The Browns have a lot of talented pass rushers on their roster, so Odenigbo will have a lot of trouble finding playing time.

If Minnesota can swing a deal for their former pass rusher, they could pair him immediately with Everson Griffen and it would feel like old times again. Of course, it still wouldn’t be Danielle Hunter, but not many players can be as good as number 99 is.

Who do you think the Minnesota Vikings should acquire to help cope with the loss of Danielle Hunter? And can the team still have a good pass rush without their star defensive end? Let us know your opinions in the comments.
