Which prospects are worth a closer look at the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine for the Minnesota Vikings?

The 2022 NFL Scouting Combine takes up the first week of March and the Minnesota Vikings have plenty of work to do. With so many holes on the roster, the Vikings will surely be active this offseason in improving the team that is put on the field next season.

With the 12th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Vikings are in a good spot with a lot of talent headlining this year’s draft. Whether they plan to build for the future or try to win right away under the new regime, the Vikings will have options through the draft.

The Scouting Combine is arguably the most intriguing aspect of the pre-draft cycle as players show off their physical testing as well as their personality through interviews and meetings.

On-field drills always steal the show at this event, but there is so much more that goes into the week-long interview process. While the 40-yard dash is the star of the show, it is far from the most important testing tool that we will witness in Indianapolis.

324 draft hopefuls were invited to this year’s Scouting Combine. There are far fewer draft selections in the 2022 NFL Draft, so fringe players will have to make the most of this opportunity. Here are six prospects that the Vikings should have their sights on at the combine.
