2021 Team: Baltimore Ravens

Tyler Huntley served as an effective backup to Lamar Jackson in Baltimore this past season. The Ravens ultimately ended the season on an unforeseen six-game losing streak that knocked them out of playoff contention. Huntley was 1-4 as a starter but managed to put up solid numbers, displaying his ability both as a passer and a runner.

While Huntley is not the typical quarterback in the system that O’Connell is used to, it is worth noting that Huntley’s 284 rushing yards in five starts ranked him second for quarterback rushing yards per game behind only Lamar Jackson.

Huntley’s athletic ability makes him an intriguing candidate as well as a low-risk high-reward investment in free agency. His cap hit last season was only $780k. The low price as well as the natural athletic ability make Huntley an enticing candidate for any team this year in free agency.

The Vikings could take a chance on Huntley in free agency as an athletic backup behind Cousins or could potentially bring him in to compete as a cheap starter should they choose to offload Cousins.
