What questionable moves have been made by the Minnesota Vikings during an eventful 2022 offseason period?

After the Minnesota Vikings decided to fire head coach Mike Zimmer and general manager Rick Spielman following another losing record and no playoff football, this offseason was always going to be a dramatic one. The organization’s completely new approach has kept everyone on the edge of their seats throughout the spring, which has the roster looking in pretty good shape considering how perilous things were on the salary-cap front prior to free agency.

It’s hard to look at Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s first few months as general manager with anything other than encouragement. The Vikings have been patient and methodical in their approach to recruitment, which is in keeping with the new general manager’s calm demeanor as he finds his feet in the role.

Minnesota’s front office decided not to completely tear everything down this offseason. This is a roster stacked with talent, so some fresh ideas and fine-tuning are all it might take for the Vikings to enter playoff contention once again.

If they cannot attain this in 2022, then a reset next time around is not entirely out of the question. So there is a lot on the line for many established figures in the first year under new head coach and Super Bowl winner Kevin O’Connell.

Without further ado, here are five questionable moves by the Vikings this offseason.
