The Minnesota Vikings have brought in some new faces in free agency and the draft, but some may never take a meaningful snap in purple and gold.

The Minnesota Vikings had a busy offseason, and despite having limited funds, they were able to bring in plenty of new faces to fill holes on this roster and upgrade the depth chart at multiple positions.

The Vikings also bolstered the roster through this year’s NFL Draft as they brought in 10 new players as general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah was able to move up and down the board to acquire plenty of draft capital.

These additions to Minnesota’s roster are definitely exciting. It will be intriguing to see how the training camp battles play out and what positions some of these new Vikings will ultimately end up at.

While there is plenty of optimism for these new Minnesota players to pan out and become an X-factor that pushes the team back into playoff contention, it is also possible that there will be a few who don’t even make the team this year.

These players could miss the final cut and end up on a new team, or they could even play in a lesser league if they can’t get another opportunity in the NFL.

So who are a few of the new Vikings players who may do just that and never wear that beautiful shade of purple in a game that actually matters?
