Former Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph recently trolled the New Orleans Saints with a hilarious post on his Twitter account.

During his career with the Minnesota Vikings, tight end Kyle Rudolph had a number of memorable moments with the franchise. But one moment that probably stands out from the rest is when Rudolph caught the game-winning touchdown pass in the first round of the 2019 playoffs to help the Vikings send the New Orleans Saints home for the season.

Recently, the former Minnesota tight end agreed to a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With the Saints being a divisional rival of the Bucs, Rudolph wasted no time in reminding the fan base of his new team of his wonderful moment from the 2019 playoffs.

During his career in the Twin Cities, Rudolph and the Vikings had some notable battles against the Saints. In addition to the overtime win in the 2019 playoffs, the tight end was also a part of the Minnesota team that miraculously defeated New Orleans in the divisional round of the 2017 playoffs.

So, at the very least, Tampa Bay is getting a veteran tight end who has plenty of experience when it comes to beating the Saints. With the Bucs losing seven of their last eight matchups against New Orleans (including the playoffs), they certainly need all the help they can get in this department.

In addition to trolling the Saints, Rudolph also revealed in his Twitter post that he will be wearing the No. 8 on his jersey with Tampa Bay this year. The veteran tight end has never worn a single-digit jersey number in the NFL, however, he did wear the No. 9 on his jersey during his college career at Notre Dame.
