4 Vikings plummeting down the depth chart in training camp

With more than a handful of practices completed, which Minnesota Vikings players are trending in the wrong direction during the team’s 2022 training camp?

Training camp under new head coach Kevin O’Connell is just about at the midway point for the Minnesota Vikings. By now, O’Connell and the rest of the Vikings’ new coaching staff are getting a good idea about which players they want to head into the 2022 regular season with.

Even though there are a number of players remaining on the roster that were added by Minnesota’s previous regime, we knew that the results of training camp and the preseason could end up with some of these guys being shown the door before the start of the regular season.

So far, there are multiple members of the previous regime’s roster that are in danger of not making it past the Vikings‘ final cuts this summer.

Some of these guys still have a chance to earn a roster spot if they have a strong showing during Minnesota’s upcoming preseason games. For others, it likely doesn’t matter what they do in the Vikings’ three exhibition matchups this year, as their time with the franchise is likely going to come to a close sooner than later.
