With the Minnesota Vikings standing tall with an 8-1 record, their post-season chances are all but locked. Who are some free agents that could help their run?
The Minnesota Vikings are all but locked into the playoffs and will look to make some noise once they get there. After their statement win against the Buffalo Bills, the Vikings now look to improve on their 8-1 record while getting ready for the postseason.
With the number one seed in their frontal view, the NFC North seems to be a lock for Minnesota, as the second-place team, the Green Bay Packers, seemingly need the season to flip upside down to keep the Vikings from taking the division.
While the team has found success, they haven’t slowed down in trying to improve when they traded for tight end T.J Hockenson. Even with only one loss, Minnesota is trying to add as many pieces as they can.
While cap space might not be in the Vikings’ favor, there are some notable names in the free agent pool left that the team could consider as an extra body for reps as they start to make their playoff run.
Additionally, there are also some names that are more than serviceable as a backup or quality depth, and some that could even be a playmaker regardless of what team they sign on.
With some notable names still available, and a postseason in sight, here are four free agents the Vikings should consider signing for a playoff run.
