Now that the 2022 regular season has concluded, what could the playoff schedule look like for the Minnesota Vikings if they go on a postseason run?

For the first time since the 2019 season, the Minnesota Vikings have more football to play after the final game on their regular-season schedule.

Coming off a 16-point win over the Chicago Bears in Week 18, the Vikings are entering the 2022 playoffs with a 13-4 record. This is the third time in Minnesota’s existence as a franchise that they’ve ended their regular season with at least 13 wins. During the two previous instances, the Vikings’ playoff journey ended in the conference championship.

What seed are the Minnesota Vikings in the playoffs?

After holding onto the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoff standings for most of the regular season, Minnesota will enter the postseason as the No. 3 seed in the NFC.

Who will the Minnesota Vikings play in the Wild Card round?

For their first matchup of the 2022 playoffs, the Vikings will host the New York Giants inside U.S. Bank Stadium as part of Super Wild Card Weekend. This will be the second time in the last few weeks that the two teams have faced each other, as Minnesota defeated the Giants by a final score of 27-24 back in Week 16.

When do the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants play in the Wild Card round?

The rematch between the Vikings and Giants will take place in the Twin Cities next Sunday, January 15th, at 3:30 p.m. central time. The contest will air nationally on FOX with Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen calling all of the action from inside the broadcast booth.

Who else made the playoffs in the NFC?

In addition to Minnesota and New York, the Philadelphia Eagles (No. 1 seed), San Francisco 49ers (No. 2 seed), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (No. 4 seed), Dallas Cowboys (No. 5 seed), and Seattle Seahawks (No. 7 seed) all qualified for the playoffs from the NFC this season.
