Former Seattle Seahawks RB praises new Minnesota Vikings general manager Nolan Teasley

On Sunday, SiriusXM NFL Radio shared a video clip of former Seattle Seahawks running back Robert Turbin talking about his experience with new Minnesota Vikings general manager Nolan Teasley during a recent radio broadcast.

Turbin had this to say about Teasley in his new role:

"He is going to be fantastic in Minnesota."

Turbin was a fourth-round pick of the Seahawks in the 2012 NFL Draft but was waived with an injury settlement after the 2014 season. He returned to Seattle in 2019, which is when Teasley was the director of pro personnel for the franchise.

There was a fun story about Turbin learning that Teasley has been promoted to assistant general manager while working out at the facility by seeing the title written next to his name. He congratulated him on the promotion.

Turbin added the following:

"Everybody loves Nolan. Ever since he was an intern to a scout to assistant GM, he's been an awesome person."

It must be refreshing to hear thatTeasley is well-respected. It is one thing to be good at your job, but there is an aspect of working in the front office in the NFL that requires people to have strong communication skills, particularly knowing how to talk to everyone.

The Minnesota Vikings have endured their fair share of talented individuals in the front office who lack some kind of skill that would make them a complete hire.

From the sounds of those who know him, the purple and gold made a great decision by hiring the former Seattle Seahawks personnel expert to be their new general manager.
