The Minnesota Vikings are looking to continue their winning ways following a huge win on the road against the Detroit Lions. Their opponents in Week 10 are no slouches, as they will face quarterback Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.

Having as many of their contributors available as possible will be important in battling their purple adversaries. However, running back Aaron Jones exited the game against Detroit with an injury and did not return, putting his status against the Ravens in question.

Jones started the week as a non-participant in practice on Wednesday and improved to become a limited participant on Thursday and Friday. That was an encouraging sign that the veteran running back might be able to suit up against Baltimore.

Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones expected to play in Week 10 against the Ravens

The Minnesota Vikings got some great news on Saturday. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler shared on X that Aaron Jones is expected to play against the Ravens on Sunday in what should be a fantastic game at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Although Jones is expected to suit up and play, that doesn't mean he will get a full workload for Minnesota. The purple and gold could rely on backup running back Jordan Mason to be more involved in the offense if they want to limit Jones.

Aaron Jones's availability is huge for the Vikings offense, especially young quarterback J.J. McCarthy. His skills as a rusher, blocker, and receiver make him a great weapon to attack opposing defenses.

The 30-year-old running back has an extensive injury history and is listed on the injury report with a shoulder/toe injury. Limiting his time on the field would be wise if they want to have the best chance of having Jones available in future games.

It's great to see the Vikings getting healthy after the tough start to the season. The team has struggled with a multitude of injuries in prior weeks. The offensive line was hit particularly hard, and the team's starting five have yet to take a single snap as a unit this season.

The Minnesota Vikings are getting healthy and getting back on track. Currently, the team has a 4-4 record and is at the bottom of the NFC North. But that doesn't mean that the scope of the division can't change significantly in the next eight weeks leading up to the postseason.
