The 2-1 Minnesota Vikings have the opportunity to play in front of a unique audience on Sunday when they face the Pittsburgh Steelers during the first-ever game to take place in Ireland for the NFL International Series.

A team decimated by injuries, the Vikings play in one of the best divisions in the league. Attempting to keep pace with the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers means that the outcome of every game is important.

The final injury report for Week 4 includes 4 Minnesota Vikings players ruled out for the game in Ireland against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

On Friday, the Minnesota Vikings released their official injury report, and four players have been ruled out for the game against the Steelers. One player from Pittsburgh has also been ruled out for the game on Sunday morning.

Fans expected guard Donovan Jackson to be inactive in Week 4. Jackson had a minor procedure on his wrist that would sideline him for a short period of time. In his place, Blake Brandel is expected to get the start at left guard.

Also, quarterback J.J. McCarthy is dealing with an ankle injury that will keep him out of action for an unknown amount of time. Until he is ready to suit up again, Carson Wentz will be behind center for the purple and gold.

However, the surprising part of the injury report is that edge rusher Andrew Van Ginkel has been ruled out. The 30-year-old defender is dealing with a neck issue that is best addressed by playing it safe, especially since Minnesota has excellent depth at outside linebacker.

Tight end Ben Yurosek was also ruled out with a knee injury. Every other Vikings player is expected to be a full-go for the game in Ireland. That includes defensive linemen Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave as well as offensive linemen Christian Darrisaw and Ryan Kelly.

On the other hand, linebacker Alex Highsmith has been ruled out for the Pittsburgh Steelers. After not practicing all week, Highsmith's ankle will keep him off the field against a Minnesota offense that scored 48 points last week against the Bengals.

Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers will be a big challenge for the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4. They are coming off a 21-14 victory over the New England Patriots and defeated the Jets 34-32 in their season opener. The 2-1 teams should make this game a must-watch in Week 4.
