It hasn't even been a full month since he officially parted with the Seattle Seahawks, but new Minnesota Vikings general manager Nolan Teasley hasn't wasted any time making changes to his new team in both the front office and on the roster.

On Tuesday, the Vikings quietly added two new players to their roster, including one who was with Teasley in Seattle last year.

Tight end Marshall Lang and defensive lineman Jahvaree Ritzie joined Minnesota's roster on Tuesday. Both were undrafted rookies in 2025, with Lang having stints on the Seahawks and New England Patriots' practice squads last season, and Ritzie also spending some time on the Patriots' practice squad.

In order to make room for these two new players on the roster, the Vikings also waived offensive tackle Caleb Etienne and rookie defensive lineman Monkell Goodwine.

Lang isn't the first former Seattle player to sign with Minnesota since Teasley was hired as the team's new general manager. No, that honor went to rookie wide receivers Michael Briscoe and Trayvon Rudolph, who both signed with the Seahawks after this year's NFL Draft and were then released by Seattle shortly after.

Teasley has also, of course, added some former members of the Seahawks' front office to the Vikings recently.

Last week, Minnesota hired former Seattle VP of player personnel Trent Kirchner as one of its new assistant general managers, and on Tuesday, the Vikings reportedly hired former Seahawks scout Azzaam Kapadia as their new assistant director of pro scouting.

Despite winning more than 63 percent of their games during Kevin O'Connell's tenure as the team's head coach, Minnesota was in desperate need of a front office overhaul.

Thankfully, it seems like Teasley is doing just that, and he's adding people who have a wide variety of characteristics to make sure the Vikings aren't cutting any corners when it comes to making roster decisions moving forward.

Now, is it too early to tell if some of Minnesota's new front office decisions will work out? Yes, it definitely is.

However, it's also perfectly fine to feel optimistic about the recent changes the Vikings have been making to a front office that has been one of the worst at drafting prospects during the last several years.
