The unknown of the Minnesota Vikings quarterback battle should have everyone in Minneapolis nervous, but one thing should be clear: this offense is loaded with talent.

Starting with talented play-caller and Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell, with a mix of great offensive talent at wide receiver led by superstar Justin Jefferson, the offense has a chance to be great thanks to what the team built with the skill positions.

CBS Sports' Jared Dubin recently went in-depth, ranking all 32 NFL offenses and how well they help their quarterbacks. Dubin had a grading system from 1-5, with the Vikings finishing just outside of the top 10, ranked 11th and tied with the Atlanta Falcons.

"The Saints and Packers got to their ranking in different ways, with Green Bay's edge at play caller (Matt LaFleur vs. Kellen Moore) making up for New Orleans' advantage along the offensive line, while we gave the same grades to each of their pass-catching and running back rooms; and the Falcons' elite running back grade for the Bijan and Brian Robinson pairing making up for a disadvantage in the pass catcher department, where the Falcons are much thinner than are the Vikings. Both Kevin O'Connell and Kevin Stefanski received 4 grades for their play calling."

Minnesota Vikings' offense appears to be already set up for success for the quarterbacks

Whether it's Kyler Murray or J.J. McCarthy, the Vikings shouldn't have any trouble on offense outside of the quarterback position. There might be some questions about the offensive line and whether they can stay healthy, but the skill guys are as deep as they get.

Jefferson is the star of the offense and should be the focal point in the offense no matter what. He's got a ton of help around him at receiver with Jordan Addison and new addition Jauan Jennings there, making it arguably the most top-heavy the group has been on the depth chart in quite some time.

At running back, Aaron Jones might be aging, but as a backup, he can do some damage on outside runs. Jordan Mason should be more of the featured runner on offense, which many believe could end up being a breakout season for him.

T.J. Hockenson still has all the traits to be a great tight end in the NFL. This season might be the last one for him, though, if he can't elevate his game to how he played a few years ago at the end with the Detroit Lions and the beginning of his Vikings tenure.

O'Connell also plays a major role in the offense's success, as he has long been one of the top offensive minds in the NFL. He helped move the needle on this offense and has brought out the best in past quarterbacks on the roster, such as Kirk Cousins and Sam Darnold.

The weapons are there for Murray or McCarthy to be successful in this fully loaded offense. It's on them to get it done because there are no excuses for anything less than great.
