The offense of the Minnesota Vikings should have a new look in 2026, as Kyler Murray will likely emerge as the starting quarterback. While there may be a new quarterback under center next season, much of the offense will look the same. That’s a good thing, though, because Minnesota is already a talented bunch, led by wide receiver Justin Jefferson.

The Vikings will add to the talented group during the 2026 Draft, and one prospect recently thought about the possibility of being one of Minnesota’s additions.

Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price appeared on the "Up & Adams" show on Wednesday, and host Kay Adams asked him what kind of offense he would be best in at the next level. Price explained that he likes a balanced offense, that’s as close to 50 percent pass, 50 percent run as possible.

Adams then went through a couple of teams with the running back to get his thoughts, and one of those teams was Minnesota. Price said he believes he’d be a good fit in the Vikings offense, shouting out Murray and Jefferson, who he referred to as the best receiver in the league.

"Minnesota, huh? I think that would be nice. Kyler Murray, Texas boy; shoutout, Texas. But yeah, I think that would be pretty cool.

...[Justin Jefferson], best receiver in the league.”

Jadarian Price thinks being drafted by Minnesota Vikings would be pretty cool

Price wasn’t exactly gushing when speaking about the possibility of coming to Minnesota, but that’s likely because he’s a prospect who doesn’t really have any say in where he’ll be drafted.

However, he praised Jefferson for being the top wideout in the NFL, and made it clear that he would like to play somewhere that wants to run just as much as it wants to pass.

The Vikings definitely fit that bill. With Jefferson on the field, it’s easy to drop back a lot, but head coach and offensive play caller Kevin O’Connell knows the importance of getting the run game going. Minnesota currently has Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason, but Price could soon join the group.

Serving as Notre Dame’s RB2 behind Jeremiyah Love, a projected top-five pick in the draft, Price still managed to establish himself as the second-best running back prospect in the 2026 Draft class.

He did that by rushing for 1,692 yards and 21 touchdowns, while adding 15 receptions for 162 yards and three additional touchdowns. That production could result in Price getting drafted by the Vikings.
