Which former members of the Minnesota Vikings could end up as the next inductee for the team's Ring of Honor in 2023?

During halftime of their Week 8 win over the Arizona Cardinals last season, the Minnesota Vikings added their latest inductee into the team's Ring of Honor, former defensive end Jared Allen.

Allen entered his induction ceremony on horseback, so it's hard to imagine any future inductees topping that entrance. But we really shouldn't have expected anything less from the former Vikings pass rusher, who always looked like he was having more fun out on the field than anyone else.

When it comes to who Minnesota could select as the next member of their Ring of Honor, there are a few worthy candidates to choose from. Who could end up getting the honor this year?

Honorable Mention: Dennis Ryan - Equipment Manager (1979 - 2023)

The Vikings have a former general manager (Jim Finks) and a former athletic trainer (Fred Zamberletti) in their Ring of Honor, so selecting former longtime equipment manager Dennis Ryan as their next inductee wouldn't be out of the ordinary.

Ryan might not be the 2023 selection for Minnesota's Ring of Honor, but it would be pretty shocking if he wasn't inducted within the next few years.
