Trade rumors involving Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson have been heating up recently, so who are some teams that might actually be able to acquire him in 2024?

Let's just make this be known immediately. At this moment, the Minnesota Vikings trading All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson is something that doesn't seem highly likely.

Jefferson has expressed his desire to remain with the Vikings, and the team has expressed their desire to keep the superstar wide receiver in purple and gold for as long as possible.

At the same time, Minnesota is heading into an offseason full of uncertainty, with the departures of both quarterback Kirk Cousins and Danielle Hunter a realistic possibility.

So, we really don't know how the Vikings are going to approach the next few months.

Based on the past, Minnesota's ownership prefers their team to remain competitive every season regardless of the possible benefits that could come from taking a few steps back for a year or two.

However, this approach still hasn't resulted in a single trip to the Super Bowl ever since they purchased the team in 2005. So perhaps their approach needs to change.

If Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah can convince the team's ownership this year that they need to place a bigger emphasis on the rebuild part of the competitive rebuild that Minnesota has been attempting, then a trade involving Jefferson becomes a lot more believable.

It's not something that many people would likely be on board with, as Minnesota dealing their star wide receiver to another team would be an extremely risky move.

But sometimes, big risks have to be taken in order to earn big rewards.

So if the Vikings do what most currently view as the unthinkable and make Jefferson available in a trade this offseason, which NFL teams have the best shot at landing the All-Pro wide receiver?
