As they prepare for a big NFC North matchup against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, the first Minnesota Vikings injury report for Week 4 was released by the team on Wednesday.

Some new names appeared on the first Vikings injury report of the week, like center Garrett Bradbury, safety Jay Ward, and tight end Josh Oliver, and it also revealed how little quarterback Sam Darnold is being held back by the knee injury he suffered in Week 3.

Minnesota wide receiver Jordan Addison was listed as something other than DNP for the first time since Week 1 as well, and that is certainly something to pay attention to leading up to this weekend's game in Green Bay.

It's important to note that the Vikings held just a walkthrough for Wednesday's practice, according to the Minnesota Star Tribune's Andrew Krammer, so the fact that Bradbury and linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. were unable to participate in that is significant

Minnesota's defense was fine last week without Pace, so the team shouldn't be too concerned if he can't suit up for the second-straight game. Bradbury possibly not playing against the Packers is definitely something to keep an eye on, though.

Among qualifying centers in the NFL this season, Bradbury currently has the 16th-best PFF offensive grade and the eighth-best PFF run-blocking grade. If he can't play, backup offensive lineman Dan Feeney would likely fill in at center for the Vikings in Week 4.

Over on Green Bay's injury report, quarterback Jordan Love is still hoping to return to the field this weekend against Minnesota after missing the last two games with a knee injury. Love told reporters on Wednesday that he was "pretty close" to playing last Sunday during the Packers' win over the Tennessee Titans.

If Love plays this week, his first game back will be against a Vikings defense that ranks first in the NFL in sacks and pressures heading into Week 4.
