Six games into their 2023 season, is the Minnesota Vikings schedule going to get any easier as they attempt to turn things around and go on a run to possibly sneak into the playoffs?

So far this season, the Minnesota Vikings schedule has featured teams from the very top of the NFL mountain and teams that are currently surviving in the gutter of the league.

Minnesota's two wins in 2023 have come over the Carolina Panthers and the Chicago Bears, a pair of teams with a combined record of 1-11 heading into Week 7.

Of the four losses the Vikings have endured this year, two have come against both participants from last year's Super Bowl (Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles), and the other two were against a pair of teams that have a good chance at making the 2023 playoffs (Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Chargers).

Is the rest of the Minnesota Vikings schedule going to get any easier?

So what about the rest of Minnesota's schedule? Have the Vikings already gone through the toughest group of games on their 2023 calendar, or is there even more difficulty waiting for them on the horizon?

Well, Minnesota's next contest has them going up against a 5-1 San Francisco 49ers team that just snapped a 15-game regular-season winning streak dating back to 2022. After that, though, the Vikings don't face a team that currently has a winning record until they host the Detroit Lions in Week 16 on Christmas Eve.

According to nfeloapp.com, Minnesota currently has the 15th-easiest schedule remaining in the NFL this season.

That doesn't seem too difficult, but the problem is that some of the teams the Vikings will need to surpass in order to make the playoffs this year have even easier remaining schedules.

The Lions (sixth-easiest), Bucs (fifth-easiest), New Orleans Saints (second-easiest), and Atlanta Falcons (easiest) all currently have much less difficult roads to earning a spot in the 2023 playoffs, according to nfeloapp.com.

Of course, injuries and other circumstances could change a bunch of things moving forward, but for now, Minnesota's remaining schedule won't be doing them any favors during their attempt to sneak into the postseason this year.
