Justin Jefferson tweets out epic reaction to his record-breaking new contract

It happened. It finally happened.
Minnesota Vikings fans, you can all breathe a sigh of relief. Justin Jefferson ain't going anywhere. The best wide receiver in the NFL is officially staying in Minnesota for years to come.
Monday morning, the announcement was made which sent shockwaves throughout the entire league, sending Vikings fans into a joyous uproar. Jefferson and the Vikings agreed on a record-breaking contract extension, paying him $140 million over four years, with $110 million guaranteed.
Jefferson now becomes the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, averaging $35 million annually.
When the news was made official, the star wideout went to social media in order to express his thoughts on the new contract.

Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson has every right to brag, but he didn't make the moment about himself
Jefferson's response to his deal included several highlights worth touching on. It wasn't a post for Jefferson to brag, boast or sound off in any way, shape or form. Rather, it was a heartfelt message from Jefferson to those who have had his back and supported him from the jump.
Jefferson started out by highlighting his journey, how it wasn't easy and he had been doubted throughout the process. Jefferson went into a sincere moment of gratitude, thanking God, his mother and father along with his brothers, referring to this moment a dream that all of them had.
It was a thoughtful and heartwarming expression of Jefferson's gratefulness, and it was clear that he didn't want this moment to simply be about him, but also those who have been such an integral part of his journey.
Of course, Jefferson thanked the Vikings organization, his coaches, ownership and the fans.
"This is the start of it, but we ain't done yet. Just wait," Jefferson concluded.
What a way to give thanks while persuading the fan base to run through brick walls. In a softspoken manner, Jefferson lifted the spirits of every Vikings fan out there and gave them a tone and feeling of hope.
Like the man said, this is only the beginning. Here's to hoping the Jefferson deal leads to more big moments for this Vikings franchise, en route to a Lombardi Trophy in the near future.
