What might a 2024 Minnesota Vikings draft look like now that the team has passed the quarter mark of the 2023 NFL season?

The Minnesota Vikings are sitting at 1-4 on the season, and a lot of the focus is starting to shift toward next season and the 2024 NFL Draft. This year's draft class is shaping up to be one of the best in recent memory, and the Vikings will certainly have a chance to turn their future around.

As things currently stand, Minnesota would hold the fourth overall selection in the draft with a chance to get a quarterback of the future or a superstar that can help build the roster around another quarterback later in the draft or found elsewhere next season.

For this mock draft, we will operate under the assumption that the Vikings will let Kirk Cousins walk in free agency and go into 2024 with a new plan in place for the front office and coaching staff.

When a new GM and head coach are brought in at the same time, they are typically given a chance to draft their quarterback and build a roster as they see fit around a rookie signal caller.

This may be the best chance that Minnesota will have at finding a franchise quarterback in a long time, and they have to be aggressive while they have the chance. With all that said, I think it is pretty clear that if things stay as they have been this season, they will bring in a new leader.
