Following the departures of Kirk Cousins and Danielle Hunter earlier this year, many are expecting the Minnesota Vikings to take a bit of a step back during the upcoming 2024 season.

Don't include Vikings safety Camryn Bynum in this group, however. During a recent appearance on NFL Network's "The Insiders", Bynum shared some bold expectations for Minnesota in 2024.

"I expect a Super Bowl. Everybody says that, and everybody should say that. But you look at the guys on the team, you look at the locker room, all the experience we have. Look how much depth we have, especially on the defense. So many guys. It's almost weird looking around, you're like, 'Okay, how are we all going to get on the field?' There's just so many ballers."

Sure, the Vikings winning a Super Bowl next season for the first time in the history of the franchise would be amazing. But despite the extreme optimism from Bynum, the likelihood of 2024 being the year in which Minnesota finally wins a Super Bowl doesn't seem to be too high.

What are the Minnesota Vikings Super Bowl odds heading into their 2024 training camp?

With the major portion of free agency and this year's NFL Draft wrapped up, where do the oddsmakers have the Vikings when it comes to their chance to win a Super Bowl ring next season?

Well, as of Friday, June 21st, the DraftKings Sportsbook has Minnesota with +8000 odds to win the Super Bowl in the 2024 campaign. These odds are currently tied with the New Orleans Saints for 23rd in the NFL.

Only the Carolina Panthers (+25000), Denver Broncos (+15000), New England Patriots (+15000), Tennessee Titans (+15000), Las Vegas Raiders (+10000), New York Giants (+10000), Arizona Cardinals (+10000), and Washington Commanders (+10000) currently have worse Super Bowl odds than the Vikings.

This also means Minnesota has the lowest odds to win a championship next season in the NFC North. The Detroit Lions currently have the highest odds in the division at +1200 (fourth-highest overall), followed by the Green Bay Packers at +1900 (10th) and Chicago Bears at +3000 (14th).

Some semi-good news is that the oddsmakers at the DraftKings Sportsbook don't expect the Vikings to be terrible next season. Currently, the Sportsbook has Minnesota favored to win more than 6.5 games in 2024.

The NFC North is just expected to be one of the toughest divisions in the NFL next season, and for Minnesota, that's likely going to be one of the many things that stands in the way of them capturing the franchise's first-ever win in the Super Bowl.
