Prospect No. 3

Dallas Turner - EDGE (Alabama)

Alabama has had a relatively difficult start to their season, but they bounced back and took care of a good Ole Miss team on Saturday. Part of the reason for their win was the timely play of their defense, including Dallas Turner.

Turner has been hyped as one of the best pass rushers in the 2024 class but has yet to have his breakout performance for the Tide. On Saturday, that day finally came as Turner racked up five tackles, two sacks, and 3.5 TFL.

Minnesota needs to find help on the edge to take some of the load off of Danielle Hunter, especially if Brian Flores is a one-and-done as the defensive coordinator. Dallas Turner is projected to be a late first-round selection at this point and could easily climb into the top half of the round by season's end.

This is a pretty good edge class, and Dallas Turner needed to turn in a big performance before he fell behind the pack a bit. He helped carry Alabama to a big win and limited the explosive Ole Miss offense to just 10 points and 301 total yards. His pressure also held Ole Miss to just three conversions on 14 attempts on third downs.

Will Dallas Turner be the next Alabama star to shine as an NFL pass rusher?
