The Minnesota Vikings should have their sights set on a few notable prospects this weekend as they continue plotting for the 2024 NFL Draft.

If the Minnesota Vikings have proved anything in their two losses this season, they've shown that they have a bunch of holes to fill across the roster before they can be considered serious contenders in the NFL. Luckily for the Vikings, the 2024 NFL Draft is absolutely loaded at quarterback, and there is a ton of talent on the defensive side of the ball as well.

Minnesota should absolutely keep all of its options open when the draft eventually comes around, which is why scouting the draft class early and often is such an important aspect of team building.

While the college season really ramps up next week, there are a handful of crucial matchups in Week 3 that could hold some weight in the spring.

In all fairness, the Vikings need to do their homework on the quarterback class this year more than ever. Sure, the obvious desire to land a superstar quarterback will always be there for any NFL organization, but if Minnesota falls in love with multiple prospects in that next tier, it could preserve draft picks and help build a stronger roster around a young quarterback.

This series will feature a lot of quarterback talk each week, with most of the top signal-callers in the country getting a little love throughout the season as a way to track how they handle their biggest challenges of the season. However, other prospects will likely be on the Vikings' radar regardless of the positional need.

These next few matchups are the top draft-related games of this college football weekend.
