The Minnesota Vikings lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2 but there was a lot to learn from the Thursday Night Football contest.

Honestly, It would have been tough to find any rational Minnesota Vikings fan who came into this Thursday Night Football game against the Philadelphia Eagles who expected the purple and gold to be victorious.

Still, anything can happen on a football field and this Vikings team was going to be hungry to prove that their Week 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wasn't a true measure of what this team is able to do week-in and week-out.

Sadly, the game didn't go Minnesota's way. Despite some solid performances from some members of the team, the Vikings ended up on the losing side of a 28-34 game and moved to a 0-2 record on the season.

Although it's disappointing that the Minnesota Vikings remain winless this season, there were definitely some things to learn about the team after watching this interesting Thursday Night Football game.
