In their first game of the 2023 NFL preseason, the Minnesota Vikings suffered a loss on the road to the Seattle Seahawks.

In their second preseason with Kevin O'Connell as their head coach, the Minnesota Vikings extended their preseason losing streak to eight on Thursday night after falling to the Seattle Seahawks by a final score of 24-13

With most of Minnesota's starters on the bench to avoid injury, a lot of the attention was on Vikings rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison. During his time on the field, Addison only had one catch for 22 yards. However, he had an impressive, toe-dragging catch that was wrongly ruled incomplete that would've improved his numbers.

Running back Ty Chandler arguably looked the most impressive out on the field for the Vikings in Seattle on Thursday. As he battles for Minnesota's No. 2 running back spot, Chandler finished the night with 41 rushing yards on 11 carries in addition to catching four passes for 29 yards.

Kicker Greg Joseph also had a good night for the Vikings, hitting his extra-point try and both of his field-goal attempts, including one from 54 yards away in the third quarter.

Minnesota's next preseason contest has them going up against the Tennessee Titans, and that game will take place next Saturday, August 19th, at 7 p.m. CST from inside U.S. Bank Stadium.
