Whether it was intentional or not, new header graphics for the Minnesota Vikings Twitter and Facebook pages do not feature Dalvin Cook.

Despite the Minnesota Vikings still pretending that running back Dalvin Cook could return for the 2023 season, his departure from the team at some point this summer feels very inevitable.

Cook's anticipated exit from Minnesota this year was made even more clear on Friday when the Vikings switched the header on their social media accounts to a graphic featuring Kirk Cousins, T.J. Hockenson, Justin Jefferson, and Alexander Mattison, but not Cook.

All signs continue to point to the Minnesota Vikings moving on from Dalvin Cook

During the last few months, there have already been multiple reports about Minnesota and Cook ending their relationship before the start of next season.

Recently, ESPN's Diana Russini and Adam Schefter continued to confirm that the veteran running back isn't expected to remain with the Vikings for the 2023 campaign. His exit is really just a matter of time at this point.

With Cook likely to play elsewhere in 2023, Minnesota is probably going to move forward with more of a committee-type approach to their offensive backfield next season, with Mattison, Ty Chandler, and rookie DeWayne McBride all getting opportunities to make plays.
