Vikings Rumors: 'When, not if' when it comes to Dalvin Cook leaving
By Adam Patrick
One of the latest Minnesota Vikings rumors has to do with the team's running back, Dalvin Cook, and his seemingly inevitable departure.
There are not a ton of Minnesota Vikings rumors floating around currently, but of the ones that are out there, many of them have to do with the likely departure of running back Dalvin Cook in the near future.
Cook was not among the players to report to the Vikings' voluntary OTAs earlier this week, and many don't anticipate that he will be on the team's roster by the time the 2023 regular season gets underway.
On a recent episode of SKOR North's "Mackey & Judd", KSTP's Darren Wolfson pretty much confirmed this when he claimed that it is a matter of "when, not if" when it comes to Cook's exit from Minnesota this offseason.
Vikings Rumors: Which NFL team will Dalvin Cook play for in 2023?
Whether the Vikings are able to work out a trade, or they end up having to release Cook, the chances of the veteran running suiting up for another NFL team for the 2023 season appear to be extremely high.
So who might be interested in adding the four-time Pro Bowler to their roster whenever he becomes available?
The majority of the league would likely love to have Cook in the backfield, but right now, the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, and New England Patriots all seem like the teams to keep an eye on as potential landing spots for the current Minnesota running back.
If Cook has actually already played his final snap with the Vikings, he will leave the team with the third-most career rushing yards and the fourth-most career rushing touchdowns in the history of the franchise.
