Minnesota Vikings Roster Cuts Tracker: Live updates before cut day (updated Aug. 27)

It's that time of year again where Minnesota Vikings roster cuts are more frequent than ever as the team attempts to build its final 53-man roster before the start of the regular season in September.

There are a number of notable new players on the Vikings roster this year, and several positional battles will be decided during the next few weeks as the team finishes up training camp and participates in three preseason matchups.

With Minnesota's summer roster consisting of around 90 players, obviously, there isn't going to be enough room for everyone to stick around when the team heads into the regular season. So, unfortunately, these next few weeks are going to be some of the last moments in a Vikings uniform for a bunch of players on the team's current roster.

August 27 - Multiple reports have indicated that the following players will be waived, released, or traded by Tuesday's final roster deadline at 3 p.m. CST

August 26 - In their first wave of final cuts before Tuesday's deadline, Minnesota moved on from Matt Corral, DeWayne McBride, Sammis Reyes, Mohamed Ibrahim, Jaylin Williams, Neal Johnson, Justin Hall, Owen Porter, Chuck Filiaga, Doug Nester, Matt Cindric, Spencer Rolland, Tyler Manoa, and A.J. Green III.

August 21 - Offensive lineman Jeremy Flax and defensive back NaJee Thompson were waived after the Vikings signed offensive lineman Matt Cindric and claimed tight end Neal Johnson off of waivers.

August 19 - After signing veteran cornerback Stephon Gilmore and receiver Justin Hall, Minnesota waived wide receiver Ty James and punter Seth Vernon.

August 13 - The Vikings waived linebacker Jabril Cox with an injury designation and signed LB Jordan Kunaszyk.

July 31 - Minnesota waived linebacker Abraham Beauplan in order to make room for free-agent cornerback Fabian Moreau on the roster.

July 29 - The Vikings waived kicker John Parker Romo to clear space on their roster after signing free-agent defensive back Bobby McCain.

July 25 - Minnesota waived rookie linebacker K.J. Cloyd and placed cornerback Mekhi Blackmon on injured reserve. The Vikings filled these two roster spots with free-agent linebacker Jabril Cox and free-agent cornerback Jacobi Francis.
