Recent odds point to the Minnesota Vikings as the top landing spot for former Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy in this year's NFL Draft.

Some believe the Vikings could trade up in the draft to get a new signal-caller, while others feel they will be able to get a solid young passer in their current spot with the No. 11 pick in the first round.

Former Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is someone who could still be on the board when it comes time for Minnesota to make their first draft selection this year, and according to some recent odds, he's got a very good chance to wind up in purple and gold for the 2024 season.

Whether the Vikings remain in the No. 11 spot or trade up in the first round, some recent odds point to McCarthy as the player the team could choose to use their top pick on this year.

As of Tuesday, Minnesota currently has the best odds to draft McCarthy this April at +250, according to the DraftKings Sportsbook. The Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks are both tied for the next-best odds to select the former Michigan quarterback in this year's draft at +650.

Now, these odds can change, and with the NFL Draft still more than two months away, more than likely, these odds will change. Still, the current difference between the Vikings' odds of landing McCarthy and the two teams with the second-best odds is significant.
