Don't be surprised if the Minnesota Vikings make a move in the 2024 NFL Draft to move up to the No. 3 spot.

This is the time of year when speculation will be running wild about what teams like the Minnesota Vikings will do during the 2024 NFL Draft. The team has a lot of options and experts are all over the place about what they think will happen.

Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano are respected analysts at ESPN and recently shared the idea that the Vikings could be a team that is interested in moving far up the draft board to grab one of the draft's top prospects.

In an article on ESPN+, Fowler and Graziano share the idea that Minnesota could be a team to "keep an eye on" to make a trade up to the No. 3 spot in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft to grab their future quarterback.

Who could the Minnesota Vikings take with the No. 3 pick?

Graziano knows the New England Patriots could use that pick on a quarterback if they are ready to move on from Mac Jones, but he has been hearing rumblings that they could be willing to trade down.

"There are people around the league who believe [the Patriots] are open to trading the No. 3 selection, moving back in the draft, and addressing the quarterback position in free agency."

They speculate that either North Carolina's Drake Maye or LSU's Jayden Daniels could be the pick at No. 3. If Minnesota can land either of those players without trading away too many assets, it could be a great move for Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and the Vikings.

If the Minnesota Vikings don't bring Kirk Cousins back for 2024 and don't like the options in free agency, expect the team to be aggressive for one of the top quarterbacks available during the 2024 NFL Draft.
