Vikings Rumors: Justin Jefferson reveals status for Week 15 vs. Bengals
By Adam Patrick
During a charity event, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson shared with someone that he will be playing on Saturday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
This past weekend, we finally got to see Justin Jefferson back on the field for the Minnesota Vikings when they took on the Las Vegas Raiders. But Jefferson's return was unexpectedly cut short when he had to leave the game in the second quarter after sustaining a chest injury.
On Monday, Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said that despite the star receiver missing more than half of the team's win over the Raiders, Jefferson still has a "good chance" of playing on Saturday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Well, during a charity event on Tuesday, the Minnesota wide receiver might have unintentionally revealed his status for the matchup with the Bengals.
Justin Jefferson says "Yes sir" when asked if he will play for the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15
On Tuesday, Jefferson and fellow Vikings wide receiver K.J. Osborn hosted a holiday shopping spree at a local Target in the Twin Cities for a number of families from The Salvation Army and A Mother’s Love.
During the event, Jefferson was walking with some of the kids in attendance, and one of them asked him if he is going to play on Saturday in Cincinnati.
The Minnesota receiver quickly responded to the question with a "yes sir."
The Vikings only held a walk-through on Tuesday during practice, but the team listed Jefferson as a limited participant based on how much he likely would have taken part in during a normal practice.
Whether Jefferson plays on Saturday or not, it sounds like he's at least going to push to get out on the field for Minnesota when they take on the Bengals.
