Free agency has slowed down, and the 2024 NFL Draft has come and gone, which means the release of the Minnesota Vikings schedule for the 2024 campaign is the next big event on the horizon this year for fans of the purple and gold.

We already know which teams the Vikings will be facing next season. The schedule will just reveal the order in which Minnesota will be facing all of their 2024 opponents. Unlike some of the other major sports, how an NFL schedule is constructed can play a big factor in how much success a team is able to experience during a season.

Schedule Rumors

May 6th

- According to ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio, signs are pointing to the NFL releasing the full schedule for the 2024 season between May 12th and May 18th.

May 7th

- While Florio's reporting was mainly speculation, the Sports Business Journal shared an actual report that revealed the NFL is expected to release its 2024 schedule on Wednesday, May 15th, at 7 p.m. CST.

May 15th

- The NFL has revealed all of their international matchups for the 2024 season, which includes the Vikings "hosting" the New York Jets for a Week 6 contest in London, England.

- Based on the schedule leaks found online by Sports Illustrated's Matt Verderame, eight of Minnesota's games on their 2024 regular-season schedule have potentially been revealed, and they include the following

Week 1 (Sept. 8): at New York Giants
Week 2 (Sept. 15): vs. San Francisco 49ers
Week 4 (Sept. 29): at Green Bay Packers
Week 5 (Oct. 6): vs. New York Jets (London, England)

- The first of two matchups between the Vikings and Green Bay Packers will reportedly be a Week 4 contest inside Green Bay's Lambeau Field on Sunday, September 29th, according to The Athletic's Alec Lewis.
