Dating back to his first few years in the NFL as a member of the Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs has always been one to, for better or worse, wear his emotions on his sleeve.

When Diggs's teams are winning, fans love this trait about him. But when things aren't going well, his behavior typically makes things worse, and it's partly why he's entering his first season with the Texans after spending the last three years with the Buffalo Bills.

While Houston's fans are probably excited to have an All-Pro receiver on the team's roster heading into the 2024 season, some believe it won't take long for the former Vikings draft pick to whip up a new batch of drama this year.

Former Minnesota Vikings WR Stefon Diggs predicted to create headaches for C.J. Stroud and Houston Texans

After a surprising 2023 season that ended in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, many believe the Texans can be among the top contenders in the AFC this year, especially with the additions of Diggs and former Minnesota pass rusher Danielle Hunter this offseason.

However, FanDuel TV's Sal Iacono, better known as Cousin Sal, shared during a recent appearance on "The Bill Simmons Podcast" that he thinks some of Diggs' old antics are going to prevent Houston from reaching its full potential in 2024.

"I think Stefon Diggs ruins C.J. Stroud.

...He's gonna be eyeballing [Stroud] when he doesn't get six targets a week."

Iacono went on to add that Diggs could become a problem for Stroud and the Texans as early as Week 2 of the season.

The former Vikings fifth-round pick finished each of his four years with the Bills at least 150 targets, but he's now with a Houston team that also has Tank Dell and Nico Collins in its wide receiver room.

Diggs was the clear No. 1 receiver during his tenure in Buffalo, but that's not going to be the case with the Texans this season. Will he be satisfied with his role in Houston this year, or will he wear out his welcome quicker than he ever has before?
