The Minnesota Vikings have stumbled out of the gates to start the 2023 season, but an upset win over the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football in Week 7 gets them right back into the mix of things.

If you want to check out the odds for the game, as well as my best bet, you can read my full betting preview for the game here.

In this article, we're talking player props. I have three locked in for Monday night that I'll break down in just a moment.

49ers vs. Vikings prop bets

  • KJ Osborn OVER 39.5 receiving yards (-119)
  • Alexander Marrison OVER 45.5 rushing yards (-110)
  • Kirk Cousins UNDER 0.5 interceptions (+100)

KJ Osborn OVER 39.5 receiving yards (-119)

Since Justin Jefferson has been injured, it's KJ Osborn whose production has seen an uptick. In the last two games, he has combined for 14 receptions for 97 yards going over 40 yards in each of those two contests.

Until Jefferson is back in the lineup, the OVER on Osborn's receiving yards is going to be a weekly play.

Alexander Mattison OVER 45.5 rushing yards (-110)

If the Vikings want a chance of upsetting the 49ers, they should run Alexander Mattison early and often in this game. The 49ers have been susceptible to the run at times this season, ranking 15th in the NFL in opponent yards per carry, allowing teams to average 4.0 yards per rush.

Considering Mattison is averaging 53.5 yards per game this season, I think he's in a great spot to reach at least 46 yards on Monday night.

Kirk Cousins UNDER 0.5 interceptions (+100)

Too much has been made about Kirk Cousins in prime time so I'm going to fade the tired narrative and bet on him to NOT throw an interception at +100 odds.

He has done a relatively good job taking care of the football this season, throwing an interception in only three of his six games this season. I'll take the plus-money on this prop bet.
