In the latest version of the "Madden" video game, the Minnesota Vikings were given one of the more favorable ratings for their entire offense.
During the last few months, we've seen the Minnesota Vikings move on from a number of notable names on both sides of the ball.
When focusing just on the offense, the Vikings will take the field next season without wide receiver Adam Thielen and running back Dalvin Cook on their roster for the first time since 2016.
Some are concerned that these departures might prevent Minnesota from performing well on offense in 2023. However, the Vikings still have plenty of firepower on the offensive side of the ball, including superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson, tight end T.J. Hockenson, and quarterback Kirk Cousins.
Minnesota Vikings have the sixth-best offense in "Madden NFL 24"
Over the last few days, the popular "Madden" video game franchise has been releasing all of their ratings for the players and teams in the latest version of their product.
On Saturday, the overall ratings for each team's offense in "Madden NFL 24" were revealed, and Minnesota was given a rating that should satisfy the fan base.
So even without Thielen and Cook, "Madden" believes the Vikings will still have one of the best offenses in the NFL next season. Imagine that.
In fact, "Madden" has Minnesota's offense ranked as the third-best in the NFC, only behind the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.
Obviously, the ratings from the video game franchise aren't something that carries the most weight when determining whether a player or team will be good. But "Madden" puts a lot of time and research into their ratings, so they should at least be taken into consideration.
If anything, it just shows that Minnesota should still feel very good about their offense heading into their second season with Kevin O'Connell as their head coach.
