The Minnesota Vikings are riding high after a 31-0 whooping of the Washington Commanders on Sunday. However, they will be on a national stage in Week 15 when they travel to Texas to take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

Minnesota will need to be on top of its game against the Cowboys. They are a better team than the Commanders right now, but that means a victory over Dallas would make it that much sweeter for the Vikings.

Sadly, it doesn't look as though the purple and gold are at full strength this week, and the team might need to keep an eye on their "skill positions" heading into Sunday night's game.

A few of J.J. McCarthy's best offensive weapons appear on the initial injury report of the Minnesota Vikings ahead of their Week 15 game against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Minnesota Vikings released their initial injury report for the game against the Dallas Cowboys, and there are some reasons to be concerned. Several of the team's top offensive weapons as listed in the report.

Here are a few of the notable additions to the report:

T.J. Hockenson, tight end

Perhaps the most worrying on this list is the injury to tight end T. J. Hockenson. He did not practice on Wednesday. The reason for missing practice is listed as a shin injury, which will definitely be something to keep an eye on since quarterback J.J. McCarthy seems to really like his big tight end targets.

Jordan Addison, wide receiver

Another great target for the quarterback, wide receiver Jordan Addison, was limited in practice. It is concerning that it is listed as an Achilles injury. After seeing what happened with Achilles injuries to Daniel Jones, Kirk Cousins, and others, this might be concerning for fans.

Aaron Jones, running back

A great receiver out of the backfield, running back Aaron Jones has not been a dominant rusher this year. However, his skill set would definitely help an offense struggling to find consistency. Listed with a shoulder injury, he was limited in practice on Wednesday and will hopefully be good to go on Sunday night.

Justin Jefferson, wide receiver

It is nice to see a player not have an injury designation on a report. That said, seeing Justin Jefferson on any report is bound to raise fans' blood pressure. The superstar wide receiver got a day of rest on Wednesday, along with several of the team's more established players.

The offensive line

Offensive tackle Brian O'Neill and center Ryan Kelly got rest days. Starting left guard Donovan Jackson was limited with an ankle injury. Those guys should hopefully be good to go this week. Keep an eye on left tackle Christian Darrisaw, who did not practice with a knee injury designation.
