Harrison Smith is out of the walking boot, ran back into the locker room after walkthrough. Isn't sure when he'll return to full practice

Smith hurt his ankle on a blitz play against the Packers, but stayed in the game after retaping.
In hindsight, it might have been a mistake to leave Smith out there. You can’t fault him for wanting to stay in the game and fight with his teammates against the Pack, but the coaches maybe should have stepped in.
The report of Smith in a walking boot was disheartening but the MRI showed no significant damage and since last week Smith has been steadily improving.
It sounds like Smith could be on-track to play this weekend against Detroit. He currently leads the Vikings with three interceptions.
Update: Mike Zimmer just gave the good news on Smith’s status for Sunday.
